If the sign is mounted by glue or epoxy, the removal process will be time consuming. The surface will be damaged and have to be cleaned and repainted, not to mention the fact that the team needs to get to work right away. There's enough important work to be done without that additional hassle.

Forget About Removing Signs
You only need to mount a Slenderline office sign once. All you have to do is use double-sided adhesive foam squares available in any hardware store and many office supply stores.
Just peel and stick to the back of the sign and hang it where you need it. Since the Slenderline sign is so lightweight, it only takes two or three adhesive squares to hold it permanently to any clean flat surface.
If you should decide to remove the sign in the future, use a mild solvent to break down the adhesive. Gently work the foam squares off the surface, and you should be left with a clean surface free of damage and ready for a new sign.
Many kinds of room number signs are too bulky or heavy to use this type of adhesive, so epoxies are used to permanently mount the signs. And it works well, too well if you want to remove them again. If you've ever removed signs mounted using epoxy, you can see how much more convenient adhesive squares can be.

Signs Should Be Easy To Change
Slenderline office signs are easy to change. Once mounted in place, they hold a thin polystyrene or paper insert that can be removed and replaced in minutes. There's no need to remove the entire sign to change the room number or office name.
Inserts for these office signs come in packs of ten. Each time you need a new sign, simply add vinyl lettering to the insert or have your local print shop do it for you. Just about any print shop has vinyl lettering in a variety of fonts and colors, and will apply them to your inserts neatly and quickly.
You can even use the entire pack at once and letter each one for a different purpose. This way, if you have a cubicle, office, or meeting room that changes it's use regularly you'll have a sign ready for each use. Nudge out the old insert and remove, then slip the new insert into the thin slot on the right side of the sign. Now the room used for meetings has been instantly switched to an office for the new project team.
