This page serves to answer some of the questions we are asked most frequently about the products offered on this website. Acrylic Sign World is one of the leading online sources for information, advice, and vending of architectural and ADA signs for businesses large and small. We design and manufacture custom signs for office buildings, hospitals, and other facilities in need of architectural signage.

Our business is based in Arizona. We are a contracting partnership working with sign craftspeople with over 20 years of experience in quality architectural sign fabrication. Anthony, the owner and webmaster of Acrylic Sign World, has fabricated architectural and ADA signs for businesses all over America for many years.

Acrylic Sign World is proud to feature the Slenderline series of low-profile business signs available exclusively through this website and offered for sale online using a secure ordering system.

All of our custom Slenderline acrylic signs are manufactured and crafted by hand using traditional and state-of-the-art equipment. We produce a variety of sizes and colors proven to serve the needs of businesses of any size. We also carry injection-molded polystyrene ADA regulatory signs. We have a wide variety of the highest professional quality available in the market.

ADA signs ship from 3-5 business days after your order is processed. Some orders may take 1-3 weeks depending on the size of the order, where it is being shipped, and whether items must be back-ordered to complete the purchase. All online orders will be processed in the order they are received, and email notification will be sent to you when your order is processed and again when the order ships.

Generally, our Slenderline orders will ship from 4 to 6 weeks from the date the order is received and processed, and sometimes ship earlier for smaller orders. Remember, we custom make your signs only after you order them, with all the care and expertise we put into every one of our products. Our larger sized signs such as our Slenderline directories take the most time to insure craftsmanship and quality for each order.

Why do Slenderline signs take longer to ship than other products I order through the internet?

Except for our ADA signs, we generally do not stock pre-made Slenderline acrylic signage products. We take pride in creating quality custom signage, and handle each sale in the order that we receive them. We don't purchase cheap products from overseas or stock prefabricated signs made who-knows-where. Your Slenderline signs are crafted especially for you when you order them by trained sign fabrication specialists with years of training in their field.

We have handled orders ranging from a single piece to hundreds of signs of different sizes and colors. 4-6 weeks is above average in the field of architectural sign fabrication. Other companies stock items made anywhere in the world and box them up and ship them sometimes without inspecting them. We take extra care to ensure the highest quality in every aspect of sign production from taking your order, fabrication of each sign, and shipping them to you. That kind of top-notch value just isn't found everywhere, but you will get it from Acrylic Sign World. You patience is appreciated and will bring you great satisfaction.

We include certain shipping costs in the product pricing. The shipping charges added to each order are a basic handling price; all other costs are incurred by Acrylic Sign World. We are very proud of this policy and pass the savings on to our customers. We ship to all parts of the United States and Canada only.

Surcharges are added to certain purchases by country of origin and total sale price. This is to compensate for additional costs in shipping and handling.

Orders above $1000 receive an additional $1 surcharge, orders above $3000 receive an additional $2 surcharge. These small additions compensate for increases in weight and freight costs and are the only additional charges added for US orders.

Canadian sales include a base price surcharge to cover additional customs charges. This amount is listed on the order form prior to purchase, and is added to the final order amount.

We guarantee replacement of damaged sign products if they are returned within THIRTY (30) DAYS OF INVOICE. Our company may replace any product due to damage or defects after inspecting the returned products. Reorders for replacement sign products will be made immediately after verification and we'll inform you by email that your replacement product is being fabricated and will be shipped when completed.

Acrylic Sign World may grant refunds for products returned within THIRTY (30) DAYS of invoice and after first being contacted by the original buyer by phone or email to customer service directly, or through our reseller 2Checkout. Both we and our suppliers only accept returns due to damage or defect. Only Acrylic Sign World offers this limited guarantee. We reserve the right to apply a 15% inspection and restocking fee to all product returns. We offer this service to our customers as proof of our dedication to quality and customer satisfaction. All sales on custom products are final and will be replaced, exchanged, or recredited at the sole discretion of Acrylic Sign World.

Please thoroughly inspect your order to help us in solving any issues that may occur. Retain all product packaging to facilitate your return shipment. Return information will be found on your shipment packaging, and you can also contact our customer service through 2Checkout with any issues and questions you may have. Please see our General Terms and Conditions section below for more details.

Customers are responsible for final sign order specifications. Please double-check your online order before completing the transaction. Your purchase is an agreement to the accuracy of your order. Refund and cancellation requests due to improper orders must be made immediately. Any cancellations or changes are subject to all reasonable and customary charges incurred by Acrylic Sign World.

Order acknowledgements are sent via email to customers verifying Acrylic Sign World's acceptance of the order. Sign types, quantities, descriptions, and pricing are referenced. Shipment dates may be subject to change due to production schedules. Please allow 4-6 weeks for delivery on all custom (Slenderline) signs.

Color matching on all signs is closest approximation to color swatches displayed on all purchase pages. Paints are opaque and the corresponding RGB web browser color is as close as possible to actual pigments.

Sign production lead-time is subject to change without notice. Standard shipping for stock products is 3-5 business days after orders are processed. Please allow 1-3 weeks for larger orders.

Custom signage (such as Slenderline products) requires a minimum of 4 weeks production time. Some products may be available in 2-3 weeks depending on product type and order size. Contact Acrylic Sign World for estimates; please allow 2-3 business days for all consultation.

All orders are shipped complete or partial at the discretion of Acrylic Sign World unless the customer specifically requests preference. Shipping/Handling and freight charges are added to pricing totals at time of purchase.

Standard freight is UPS GROUND transportation. Any third-party or drop ship instructions may require waiver and release of product liability by the customer.

Surcharges are added to certain purchases by country of origin and total sale price to compensate for additional costs in shipping and handling.

Canadian sales include a base price surcharge to cover additional customs and shipping charges. This amount is listed on the order form prior to purchase, and is added to the final order amount at the time of purchase.

Immediate inspection of all packages and sign products upon receipt is customer's responsibility. Shipping damages must be reported immediately to United Parcel Service. Keep all packaging materials to verify freight claims.

Product and pricing errors must be reported to Acrylic Sign World within SEVEN (7) DAYS of receipt.

All product returns must be authorized in advance and include a Return Materials Authorization (RMA) number provided by Acrylic Sign World. Product returns must be received by Acrylic Sign World within THIRTY (30) DAYS of RMA issuance. Please contact Acrylic Sign World or 2Checkout customer service prior to any return.

Customers are responsible for all product return freight charges including all deliveries that are not accepted. Products are subject to a 15% inspection, validation and restocking charge.

Requests to return inventoried sign products must be made within FIFTEEN (15) DAYS OF INVOICE DATE. Acrylic Sign World offers warranty to the original purchaser only, that sign products provided by said company are free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of TWELVE (12) MONTHS from the original retail purchase date. Only inventoried products will be accepted as returns. This does not include custom products, special order signage and materials, discontinued products, and items crafted for resale.

If a workmanship or material defect is discovered within the TWELVE (12) MONTH warranty period, Acrylic Sign World will, at its option, replace, repair, or credit your purchase price of the sign product upon inspection and verification of said defect. However, Acrylic Sign World will not be obligated to change, modify, or otherwise substitute sign types, colors, finishes, or styles from the original sign specification. All defective product returns must include the RMA #, customer name, address, telephone number, email address, and brief description of the issue. Please include copy of purchase information from purchase verification email, including purchase number, in your contact email as proof of original retail purchase date.

This limited warranty applies only to products manufactured to order for resale by suppliers in contract with Acrylic Sign World. It does not warranty products that are not manufactured by suppliers or components of another company's finished sign product. Acrylic Sign World does not warranty value added services provided by suppliers and is not responsible for product installation, de-installation, modifications, or product consultation. This warranty will not apply to product that has been damaged due to acts of nature, misapplication, installation, accident, abuse, vandalism, or modification without written permission from Acrylic Sign World.

This warranty is in lieu of all other warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose, implied warranties of merchantability, and non-infringement.

In no event shall Acrylic Sign World be responsible for special, incidental or consequential damages resulting from any breach of warranty, strict liability in tort, or under any other legal theory (including lost profits, downtime goodwill, damage to other equipment and property.

Any modification, addendum or extension to this warranty must be authorized in writing by Acrylic Sign World.

Website and catalog pricing and product availability is effective through May 2010 and may be subject to change without notice.

Requests to return custom products to Acrylic Sign World must be made within FIFTEEN (15) DAYS OF INVOICE. Only standard Acrylic Sign World products will be accepted as a return. Special orders, customizations, or modified signage will not be accepted as a return.

Product returns are subject to inspection and verification by Acrylic Sign World and its suppliers prior to any reorders or credits being applied to the customers account. Standard Acrylic Sign World products must be in original factory packaging and free from any markings and labels. Omissions or errors in count should be made within FIVE (5) DAYS OF DELIVERY. Acrylic Sign World, in cooperation with its suppliers and at its option, will credit or replace the sign component. Qualified credits and product reorders will be applied to the customer's account only if returns are received by Acrylic Sign World and suppliers within THIRTY (30) DAYS OF INVOICE.

Requests to return damaged or defective Acrylic Sign World products must be made within SEVEN (7) DAYS OF INVOICE. Please contact customer support if your sign product is damaged during transportation. Keep all packaging materials intact to substantiate the claim.

Defective returns are subject to verification and inspection by Acrylic Sign World and its suppliers prior to any credits being applied to the customer's account. Reorders for damaged and defective sign products will be made immediately and the customer will be invoiced for the reorder pending verification of return and credit. Qualified credits for damaged and defective returns will be applied to the original customer invoice only if the damaged or defective product is received by Acrylic Sign World within THIRTY (30) DAYS OF INVOICE.

Incorrect, incomplete and inaccurate sign specifications will not constitute a valid product return claim. If any sign product is installed by the customer prior to substantiating a claim, then Acrylic Sign World will not accept any return nor be held responsible for installation and removal costs.

Requests to return sign products to Acrylic Sign World must be authorized by Acrylic Sign World customer service. Please send request by email using the return address for 2Checkout purchases. Acrylic Sign World will issue a Return Material Authorization number to the original purchaser only. This number must be clearly marked on the outside of all packages returned below the return address marked on the original packaging material.

Acrylic Sign World reserves the unrestricted right to discontinue return privileges to any customer that engages in excessive or unauthorized return practices. Acrylic Sign World also reserves the unrestricted right to change, modify or discontinue this program at any time without recourse.
